Special @thanksgiving Day Article; Because we are so Thankful for all of you: If the ‘Mighty Mayfield’ game with LCA should come down to a PAT or FG, we know a Lincoln that would Suit[er] just fine. @MHSCardinalsFB @mhscoachjoe @LCAathletics @LCAFootball2022 @kjacoMessenger @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @kyhighs @HLPreps @MaxPrepsSpecial @kjacoMessenger

We are approaching round four (4) in the KHSAA playoffs. All of these teams left standing are very good. There are exactly no bad apples left in the barrel. It will be the “little things” which differentiate between winning and losing at this point. “Mighty Mayfield” has themselves the home field and a kicker in Lincoln Suiter who has before come through for the Cardinals in a “big game,” with the game on the line. If called upon, Friday night, will he come through once more? We shall see, but the Cardinals are confident. Enjoy the feature. HB.

@SageDawson from Boyle County, Kentucky looks poised to ‘Break-out’ in ’21. @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @1776Bank

We first told you about Sage Dawson in an feature we wrote about Caleb Burns in May of last year. Sage had started under center much of his freshman campaign for the Admirals and had drawn considerable notice then. Well today Sage gets his own feature. Congratulations! Dawson is a guy whose name you will hear more and more on the recruiting trail as he matures and develops. His development and “coming out” party will take place and kick off in Gatlinburg, Tennessee on May 22, 2021 at the Appalachia Prep Combine. Can’t wait to see what he does. HB.

KPGFootball watched football on “the Riverbank.” Here’s our thoughts about Breathitt County and what we think of its chances against Somerset.

November 25, 2019 Henry Lyon 0

We got to travel to Jackson, Kentucky this past Friday night and take in the game on “The Riverbank” between Breathitt County and Walton-Verona. The following is what KPGFootball thought of the game with the Bearcats from Walton-Verona and what it thinks of Breathitt’s chances against Somerset this coming Friday […]

Class of 2020 QB, Jaden Stinson (@jadenstinson14) of Mayfield HS…Not a more effective QB in @KyHighSchool Football

April 23, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

Jared Stinson is in the top three signal-callers in all of Kentucky’s 2020 graduating class. Mayfield has lost a ton of ground production from last year’s backfield, but the passing game returns almost completely intact. What will Stinson’s numbers be in 2019 with his top receivers returning? If the last two years are an indication, could be off the charts.

Danville’s Darrian Bell (Class of 2020) is a rolling stone and that is a very good thing…

April 18, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

It was once written that “…a rolling stone gathers no moss.” Well, there is no moss gathering under one of KPGFootball’s favorite 2020 prospects. His name is Darrian Bell and he delivers year after year, play after play, time and time again. He’s a tireless worker and a perpetual rolling stone who will have a big 2019, and you can bet on that. Danville will be back in 2019. Book that!

Danville at Corbin will answer some questions…

August 24, 2018 Fletcher Long 0

Not every team plays in week zero, but just about the entire Commonwealth of Kentucky will be hitting the field tonight. We came into the 2018 season with lots of questions. Tonight, many of those questions will be answered, and emphatically. In this article, we will feature two teams, both […]

Class of 2019, QB Zach Thornton, Danville High School

July 24, 2018 Fletcher Long 0

Every one last year focused on Dmauriae VanCleave, and, perhaps deservedly. He caught 82 footballs for 1,095 receiving yards with 14 TD receptions. VanCleave gained 762 yards from scrimmage and 11 TDs rushing. VanCleave had 6 interceptions and scored several TDs on special teams. VanCleave, who may have been the […]

Danville’s DARRIAN will ring your BELL

July 10, 2018 Fletcher Long 0

I want to assure you of one thing mighty fast…if I have to tell you Danville High School‘s Darrian Maurice Bell, Class of 2020, is one of the best returning linebackers in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, then perhaps I should hire myself out to the Bells as a sports publicist, […]
