Jesse Boucher, for whom we have provided a link to his Hudl highlights at the bottom of the page, attended his own commencement just last night in Springfield, Tennessee. For a guy who helped lead his football team from an 0-10 record to an 11-4 mark and a spot in Tennessee’s 4A State Championship Game, I am sure everyone at SHS was sorry to let the undersized, gritty, tough as nails linebacker leave. The diminutive Boucher led the Yellow Jackets with 101 tackles over the course of last season. In addition, Boucher tallied 13 tackles behind the line of scrimmage, forced 2 fumbles, recovered 3 other fumbles, picked off a pass, registered a quarterback sack, and forced the opposing quarterback to throw early on 4 other occasions.
