Talk about coming out of nowhere; nobody had Central Hardin playing the way the Bruins have played this year in any preseason prediction we read. Still, Hobbs was coming off an All-State performance his junior year, so he is a known commodity. How has he performed this year? Well enough to have many of the area’s finest college programs, at various levels of play, frothing at the mouth to sign him. Enjoy the feature. HB.

We are 5-2 on the season and 3-1 in SAA competition, still holding our destinies in our own hands. A win over highly regarded Trinity Texas, and one over BSU in Birmingham a week later, will crown us “Kings of the SAA Conference” and guarantee a bid to the NCAA’s. It doesn’t matter what we have done before now, now is the only thing which counts. Go Colonels!

Trigg County is flying high at 7-1. We think the team is for real but the game upcoming with an undefeated Union County team will be the final exam. What will be the verdict (if you will)? We will have to wait and see. Until the jury returns here is a wonderful article about another of the Wildcats primetime performers.
