Middle School Spotlight: Bo Wolford, Belfry class of ’26. @minguabeefjerky @wolford_bo @football_bms @BelfryFootball1 @PrepSpin @MaxPreps @KyHighFootball

What can we tell you about Bo Wolford other than he is one of the most decorated and covered football players along any middle school line of scrimmage. He’s played on numerous Team Kentuckys from Future Stars to FBU Elite.

Bo has led his middle school team to back-to-back KYMSFA, Division 3, State Titles playing for a program which has won six overall. Besides that, he’s a “Wolford.”

Don’t know how many of you remember Ethan Wolford, but we spilt plenty of ink covering him back in the day when he was an All-State center playing for Belfry. We hear the two are of no blood relation, but the common surname, and the dominating play from the pair, convinces us there may be some consanguine blood either up or down the family tree.

Bo has the frame a school covets in a young big. He is 6-3 and weighs a well-put-together 265. This figures to fetch for this young guy some early PT for the Pirates once he hits Fall practice next fall for his freshman campaign.

Wolford has a full calendar this coming summer too. We would imagine his making the Future Stars roster for the Tennessee/Kentucky classic is as assured as those things ever get. He has just spent a second all-star season playing for Team Kentucky’s FBU Elite squad in the annual National Championship tournament.

Of course, there is one thing even more important than his frame. We hear tell that young Wolford is sporting a 4.0 GPA.

Like so many student-athletes, these days around the Bluegrass, Bo has taken the student part seriously. It appears Bo’s options, for college, will be limitless.

Smart move Bo! This kid is going places.
