Jo Byrns’ Matthew Henegar is the Stewart Williams Company’s Robertson County Player of the Week

Both KPGFootball and the Stewart Williams Furniture Company want to make the dreams and aspirations of the young athletes in and around Robertson County come true. After all, Robertson County has supported Stewart Williams all these years.

That is why, when the opportunity presented to partner with KPGFootball to promote area, young football players, or even a coach or two, in the hopes the recipient’s achievements would net for their families and them a college education and/or a better life, Stewart Williams said, count on us. A partnership sprung from this opportunity still ongoing today.

Can’t win a high school football game, or sustain long-term success without some players leading the way upfront. The Red Devils have had better years; sure, but they have one “big-ugly” doing his thing up-front for the school in Cedar Hill, Tennessee.

Matthew Henegar is a 2020 prospect who is 6-2 and tips the scales around 290-pounds. He plays on both sides of the football for the Red Devils.

His best position appears to be along the offensive front at center where he has a quick first step, good hand placement, and good explosion and punch as he engages with defensive linemen. As for size, well his frame is ideal for where he is presently slotted.

Congratulations to Matthew Henegar of Jo Byrns, in Cedar Hill, Tennessee, for being selected the Stewart Williams Furniture Company’s Robertson County Player of the Week. Join us, next week, as we anoint a new recipient.
