’27 DB is a track star and soon to break out football star and D-1 football prospect

Jalen Dantzler played in 6-games as a sophomore. However, he made those appearances count and, after all, he was playing for one of the more well stocked rosters in the commonwealth of Kentucky in Louisville Central High. Dantzler plays for his dad, legendary coach Marvin Dantlzer, at Central. If you believe he has been shown an ounce of mercy playing for his dad, or a scintilla of deference, you obviously have never met Coach Marvin Dantzler. Jalen has had to earn every rep. However, what Jalen did do is make the most out of his limited appearances. He has also made the most out of his class room time (3.3 GPA) and this offseason. Dantzler has worked himself into a real prospect who is getting tons of D-1 looks and visits. Dantzler is a star in football, the 100/200 meter sprints, and the Long Jump where he made the state finals this spring. Translation…he’s one heck of an athlete and with an 80-inch wingspan he is very hard on whom to complete a deep ball. Dantzler has back-end, closing speed with length. Who doesn’t want that at corner?

We know you’ll love it and come back for more, again and again.

Ronnie Mingua began experimenting with making beef jerky back in the 1990s. He shared his efforts with neighbors and friends, soon realizing he had come up with something different and superior to all other beef jerkies on the market. From these humble beginnings, Mingua Beef Jerky got its start.

Today, the Mingua Beef Jerky Company still prides itself on using its old-fashioned, all-natural recipes which offer outstanding products to customers across the nation. The recipes are a family tradition, passed down from generation to generation.

Our recipes and our quality ingredients, hand-cut from solid pieces of beef, are never chopped or formed like other brands, making our products superior and one of a kind. That would make our products similar to this week’s Protein-packed Performer, Jalen Dantzler, ’27 DB from Central High in Louisville, Kentucky.

Louisville, KY: Jalen Dantzler has proven himself an athletic specimen. Dantzler is a ’27 defensive back who got six (6) games of athletic run a year ago playing for one of the most athletically gifted rosters in the KHSAA.

We have talked many times about how a college player will find the high school varsity playing field sometime over the prospect’s sophomore season. Finding the field as a sophomore is easier some places than others. Louisville’s Central High School is a challenging place to find the field as an underclassman.

Dantzler broke a knee cap first day back from “Dead Period” last year. Dantzler was projected to start from the first game but the injury and the rehab set him back and delayed his debut.

When Dantzler was released from injury, he made up for lost time. Dantzler registered 15-tackles in his 6-games of run to tantalize the Yellow Jacket fans with what may be in store for him this coming season when healthy.

Dantzler has had an incredible offseason and performed superbly in track & field this spring. Dantzler runs the 100 meter and 200 meter sprints while also long jumping. Jalen has run the 100-meter in the low 11’s and was a finalist at the KHSAA track meet in the long jump.

Jalen is a 4.54-second, 40-yard dash guy. Jalen is a 6’2,” 180-pound corner with 80-inch wingspan who picked a pass in addition to his 15-tackles in his limited run a year ago. Before we forget, Dantzler is a 3.3-GPA guy too, which colleges are already loving.

The final conclusion is the following: Dantzler is a projected corner with back-end closing speed and incredible length. He is also crazy athletic and a full-academic, NCAA Clearinghouse qualifier. Who isn’t looking for corners like that?

Join us next week as we return to honor another weekly prize winner. Until then, pop some Mingua Beef Jerky in your mouth and savor the quality and flavor which sets it apart from the competition. Remember, our product is superior and one of a kind; just like Central High School’s Jalen Dantzler.
