@claygames7 from @EHSAthletics20 and headed to @kwc_football is the @minguabeefjerky Protein-packed Performer of the Week. @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @1776Bank

Ronnie Mingua began experimenting with making beef jerky back in the 1990s. He shared his efforts with neighbors and friends, soon realizing he had come up with something different and superior to all other beef jerkies on the market. From these humble beginnings, Mingua Beef Jerky got its start.

Today, the Mingua Beef Jerky Company still prides itself on using its old-fashioned, all-natural recipes which offer outstanding products to customers across the nation. The recipes are a family tradition, passed down from generation to generation.

Migua Beef Jerky uses Enviro-Pac CHU-2000 equipment to cook its meat to USDA required levels for both moist or dry operation. Mingua Beef Jerky wants you to become one of its many satisfied customers by sampling its quality hand sliced, all natural beef jerky. We know you’ll love it and come back for more, again and again.

Our recipes and our quality ingredients, hand-cut from solid pieces of beef, and never chopped or formed like other brands, make our products superior and one of a kind. That would make our products similar to this week’s Protein Packed Performer of the Week, Class of ’21 QB, Clay Games, formerly from Elizabethtown High School and headed to play football for the Panthers of Kentucky Wesleyan College, wouldn’t it?

Games is a player we have watched since he led his team to the title back in his middle school days. His TK Stone Middle School won the KYMSFA, division 2 championship in 2016.

He has had a wonderful career in high school, led his high school team to the 3A title game in 2020, and is going to do big things in college playing QB for another set of “Panthers” at Kentucky Wesleyan College. When we say he had a big year in 2020, we’re really not kidding.

Over a season in 2020 where he led his team to a 12-1 finish and berth in the 3A Championship Game against Ashland Blazer, Games was pinpoint in the passing game. He completed 155 of his 254-passing attempts for 2,526-yards with 31-TDs against only 2-thrown interceptions.

Don’t know what QB-rating that would figure to be. I do know it would be quite an impressive one.

The 6-3, 190-pounder has the perfect frame for the QB position. He is a drop-back passer which is becoming more and more prized in the college game over the dual-threat counterpart. Clay’s composure, accuracy, arm-strength, and production are dead on the money for what makes one a candidate to become a fine college player.

That is what we firmly believe he will prove to be. This was a tremendous pick-up for Coach Yeast and the guys over at “The K-Dub!”

A QB’s top-priority is to win ball games. Clay Games certainly showed, over his career and particularly at the end of it, he was imminently capable of doing just that.

We thought a guy like this could use a bolt of protein. Mingua Beef Jerky has elected to send him some via the prize package of product which comes with this award.

Congratulations to Clay Games, Class of ’21, from Elizabethtown High School on his selection. Join us next week as we honor another worthy player.

Until then, pop some Mingua Beef Jerky in your mouth and savor the quality and flavor which sets it apart from all the competition. Remember, our product is superior and one of a kind, just like E’town’s Clay Games.
