Man oh man did Covington Catholic lose a lot on defense. Of course, losing Michael Mayer from off of any offense (or defense) will leave a mark. Caleb Jordan, All-State QB in 2019, is back and that is quite a lot. Enjoy this look at a team which has gone 44-1 the last three years. HB.

Franklin West is one of the very outstanding players at both positions he plays, OT/DT. He will get early PT for the Redhounds this coming Fall entering the starting lineup in the first half of the year if he doesn’t start there. He’ll have Logan Smith to guide him. Enjoy the article. HB.
McLean County High School had an incredible run in 2019. First, they got past Owensboro Catholic to win the district and they got to play State Champion Somerset in the Regional Championship Game. One of the guys on whom they most had to rely will be back in 2020. This week’s Independence Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week is McLean County’s Connor Baldwin. Join us next week as we award this to another worthy recipient. HB.

In this article, we asked 10 football enthusiasts who identities we agreed not to reveal how they perceived an offer from each of Kentucky’s in-state college football programs from top to bottom. The contents of this article is ranked how they ranked them.
The late Whitney Houston recorded a song with the lyric “how do I know if he really loves me?” The same question runs through the minds of parents about college recruiters who very often toy around with their student-athlete’s affections. We believe we may have discovered something weighty about how to tell when a school is interested versus feigning interest. That information is in this article and for the exclusive use of our subscribers. That’s why you pay us “the big bucks.” Enjoy the article and try to learn something. HB.
