’28 two-way lineman has the frame & game to play right away
We have talked for years about middle school players arriving in the HS game different from other 8th-graders. Not all rising freshmen are 6’3.” Not all rising freshman weigh 215-pounds. Not all rising freshman can move like Dylan Branson. Not all rising freshman have the “twitch” Branson has, nor the explosion (get off) Branson has, nor the football playing IQ nor experience Branson possesses. He’s just different. Because of this difference, he has made virtually every MS All-whatever team which exists through the commonwealth and he will be a threat to start his first snap as a varsity player when he reaches Woodford County’s varsity roster.

Versailles, KY: Migua Beef Jerky uses Enviro-Pac CHU-2000 equipment to cook its meat to USDA required levels for both moist or dry operation. Mingua Beef Jerky wants you to become one of its many satisfied customers by sampling its quality hand sliced, all natural beef jerky. We know you’ll love it and come back for more, again and again.
Ronnie Mingua began experimenting with making beef jerky back in the 1990s. He shared his efforts with neighbors and friends, soon realizing he had come up with something different and superior to all other beef jerkies on the market. From these humble beginnings, Mingua Beef Jerky got its start.
Today, the Mingua Beef Jerky Company still prides itself on using its old-fashioned, all-natural recipes which offer outstanding products to customers across the nation. The recipes are a family tradition, passed down from generation to generation.
Our recipes and our quality ingredients, hand-cut from solid pieces of beef, are never chopped or formed like other brands, making our products superior and one of a kind. That would make our products similar to this week’s Protein-packed Performer, Dylan Branson, ’28 DL/OL from Woodford County High School in Versailles, Kentucky.
We got a call from a football coach who was remarking about a prospect we featured years ago, when he was in middle school, picking up an offer from UK with a trip to Louisville upcoming. This particular prospect has a handful of offers from D-1 programs already and is entering his junior year.
The coach brought up a valid point. He said, “Heck, you guys were on him first, over everybody else in the commonwealth. How do you guys do it?”
We get this question quite a bit. The answer…we have the most thorough and extensive network of agents throughout Kentucky. We are, literally, everywhere (not to brag).
Football players across Kentucky should take note, they are under the watchful eye of someone we have arranged to be there to watch them. They may think no one is watching. They would be sorely mistaken.
There are lots of people around Kentucky claiming middle and high school football expertise. Expertise is earned, not gifted to anyone with a mouth and a keyboard.
The proposed expert has to do the work. He (or she) has to put in the hours, pour over the data, get out to combines, games, and practices, pour over game and practice film. It is an acquired trait.
You (the reader) don’t have to do anything to acquire this expertise. KPGFootball does the heavy lifting for you. It is all right here, waiting on you to ready it one bathroom break at a time.
It takes little to no expertise to watch Dylan Branson play football to glean he is different. Branson has admirable (and fortunate) height. Branson has really good length. Branson has a really good work ethic which adds thickness to his frame. Branson is twitchy and explodes off the line really, really well.
About the only thing which can keep Branson out of the opening night, 9th-grade, varsity lineup is…Dylan Branson! Watch Branson dominate the combine, all-star game circuit this summer and then brace yourself for mid-August. This cat looks ready to pounce.
Join us next week as we return to honor another weekly prize winner. Until then, pop some Mingua Beef Jerky in your mouth and savor the quality and flavor which sets it apart from the competition. Remember, our product is superior and one of a kind; just like Woodford County High’s, Dylan Branson.
This is Friday Night Fletch reporting for Kentucky Prep Gridiron and reminding you to PLAY THROUGH THE WHISTLE. Don’t forget to SAVOR THE FLAVOR!
LETS GOOOOOOOO…… My guy is a force to be reckoned with!
