Middle Schoolers got the “bright lights” of center stage this week owing to the KHSAA being off a week. While garnering the spotlight, some of the Junior High guys really took advantage. One of those was this week’s Revolutionary Player of the Week. Enjoy this article about one of Kentucky’s hardest working 2025s dual-threat QBs, Deuce Bailey, from your friends at the fastest growing bank in Kentucky, Independence Bank. Enjoy the article. HB.

If you have been reading our weekly “Outstanding Performances…” articles, the series of articles should have impressed upon you how very difficult winning this award really is. We had another spectacular week where there were numerous performances any one of which would have been a fine performance to single-out. This week, the high schools were off and the middle schoolers seized center stage. No one on that level of play thrust himself into a commonwealth-wide discussion any more forcefully than this week’s Protein-packed Performer. What do we mean by this? Well, read the article and see! Enjoy the article and join us next week as we honor another worthy recipient. HB.

Hayden Canady from @PCCHSFootball is one of the Class of 2024’s brightest future stars. @Minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @1776Bank

November 16, 2020 Henry Lyon 0

We’ve learned a few things over the years from kids, or even grown men, named “Canady.” We have learned to expect a champion’s effort, performance, grit, and toughness. That is why it is no surprise Hayden Canady, like the Canady’s who have come along before, is a champion in multiple sports. Expect big things from this young ’24 prospect. HB.

@CentreFootball…making its presence felt with @KyHighFootball ’21 prospects. @Minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin

There seems to be a movement among some of Kentucky’s definitive players at their respective positions to spurn offers from “larger” programs to attend schools like Centre College. Many people have expressed surprise with the in-roads Centre’s football program has made with top-notch ’21 Kentucky prospects. However, should anyone really be surprised? We don’t think so!

Murray High may have a backfield full of the hardest names to spell in all of football. You virtually need a doctorate to even attempt to spell Rowdy Sokolowski, Brendon Dahncke, or Charvelle McCallister. This week’s recipient, Brendon Dahncke, had a particularly good game in one of his team’s more important games of the year, against cross-town, 4A, District 1 heavyweight, Calloway County. It was a battle for supremacy in the city of Murray and the county of Calloway and Dahncke led his team to the winner’s circle. Enjoy this article about one of Kentucky’s hardest working 2021 backfield “grinders,” Brendon Dahncke, from your friends at the fastest growing bank in Kentucky, Independence Bank.

If you have been reading our weekly “Outstanding Performances…” articles, the series of articles should have impressed upon you how very difficult winning this award really is. We had another spectacular week where there were numerous performances any one of which would have been a fine performance to single-out. There are weeks where picking just one seems impossible. This was one of those weeks. We have settled on one, however, and we believe you will see exactly why. Enjoy the article and join us next week as we honor another worthy recipient. HB.

Here is the AP’s final top-ten poll of the 2020 @KyHighFootball season. @minguabeefjerky, @PrepSpin, @1776Bank

November 10, 2020 Henry Lyon 0

We are privileged to get to participate in this weekly poll and we take our participation very seriously. This week we decided to post the poll as it comes to us without any effort to reformat it. We don’t know what all the little “t’s” are about but what the heck, let’s throw it up and see how it comes out the other end. The message of appreciation at the top is from Catherine Hills with the AP to KPGFootball and the other members of the subscribed media who vote the poll listed at the bottom.

Last week of the regular season. Here are our picks…@KyHighFootball @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin

November 6, 2020 Henry Lyon 0

We have picked four games for you which we have done some checking with the respective coaches and believe are being played tonight. We are 55-12 on the year and wanted to pick 5-games to attempt to get our win-record to a cool 60 but, in this day and time, you take what you can get. Let’s see if we can run the table this last week of the regular season which has been anything but regular. HB.

The ‘Babin Twins’ are the @1776Bank ‘Revolutionary Players of the Week.’ @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @brandtbabin @BraedenBabin @centurions_fb

November 6, 2020 Henry Lyon 0

This week’s “Revolutionary Players of the Week” are The Babin Twins who need no introduction to high school football fans either in the Derby City (Louisville) or really anywhere in the commonwealth. Both of these guys are Class of 2021 and both are being heavily pursued by college programs seeking one or both of their considerable services. Go on by and see our friends at your local Independence Bank and thank them, not just for this series, but for the outstanding service and products which have started a revolution in the banking industry. Enjoy the article. HB.
