Never too soon for us to take a look at next year as the State Championships are to be played this coming weekend. There is one team we expect to make a rather strident leap forward in 2020 and it is the Russellville Panthers. They are used to owning the 1A classification on the western end of Kentucky outside of Louisville and it appears there are brighter days ahead for the traditionally rich program. Enjoy this look at the Russellville Panthers but only if you are a subscriber or buy the article.

We have taken to putting more of our articles behind the pay-wall for the benefit of our subscribers only. After all, the subscribers to the site and the advertisers are the only people to whom we answer in the end. Much of the information we relate is valuable to our subscribers and advertisers which is why they support us. It wouldn’t be right, and would deny them the benefit of their bargains, to just give it away to any and everyone. Sorry, it’s called capitalism. We forecasted the winners of every game played in the KHSAA, round 2, and we’re correct in 40 of 48. We were 18-6 in round 3, we were 9-3 in round 4. I thought at the first of the year the Yellow Jackets were going to struggle. Well, seemingly out of no where, Coach Wilson has his charges playing in another quarterfinal tonight at home against an 11-1 Hardin County squad. He has done it by getting contributions from players it would have been impossible to predict would contribute. Players like the class of 2022’s Jaden Wells. Enjoy this article about a diminutive defensive lineman who is finding his way onto the field and, somewhat, unexpectedly. Join us again next week as we anoint another worry recipient. HB.
