Weekend scorecard sees our performance dip to an all-time low!

Okay, members! We crow when we do well, we should own our failures. We were 5-4 this week as only 9 of the 12 games we picked even got played. We are now 45-9 on the year and our performance this week was embarrassing. We will dive in harder and try to provide a better service this coming week. In our defense, we have some “Jekyll and Hydes” out there in the high school football world. Some of these teams look like they should be in the NFL one week and then look like they aren’t sure what game they are playing the next. HB.

10-1 a week ago and 12-2 this week. KPGFootball is the best handicappers in Kentucky high school football. There is a reason for this, we study the subject 24/7, 365 and our competitors don’t. It is why we are who we are. For out subscribers, here is a look at what we predicted and how we did. Enjoy, HB.

Lots of folks around @KyHighFootball are wondering how good is the #WestCarter team? @CoachDBark, @orreyperry19, and several other Comets would tell you very good (featured photo: Michael Boggs, Sports View America)!

West Carter is beginning to make quite a bit of noise around 2A’s 8th District. This team played Beechwood for a regional title a year ago and looked poised to make it, at least, that far again this coming season, pandemic permitting. We look at this team and some of its “star power” in this article. Enjoy, Comet fans! HB.

For those caught up on classification, @PikevilleHSFB (1A) travels to Lexington to play @HCHSDevilsFB (6A) Friday night. We pick the winner right here… @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @1776Bank

We have been telling you for years the enrollment of the high school has very little to do with how good of a football team it has in Kentucky. Well, tomorrow night, we suppose Pikeville High School (1A) will make the point for us when they travel to play Lexington’s Henry Clay High School (6A). This game won’t be close and it won’t be the team from Kentucky’s smallest classification feeling the effect of Friday night on Saturday morning. Enjoy the look brought to you like only KPGFootball can do it. HB.
