February 17, 2025 Fletcher Long 0

George Radford was among the greatest the Trigg County Wildcats ever put on a gridiron, a baseball diamond, or even a hardwood court. He was also a college letterman in football, an accomplished student, who became a wonderful coach, teacher, administrator, and now a businessman and entrepreneur. This guy could do it all. Join us now as we go over the fine career of George Radford and its impact on the KHSAA.

Blast from the Past: Mike Holcomb, from @MCentral_FB, Wins No. 300! @KyHighFootball @kyhighs @HLpreps @1776Bank @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @MaxPreps

February 16, 2025 Henry Lyon 2

Coach Holcomb is a quirky, unique guy who deflects praise and criticism like its the Covid or the “Monkey Pocks.” However, “Old Holc” as we call him around the magazine has gone and accomplished something we aren’t willing to ignore. Congratulations Coach, from your friends at KPGFootball.

Henry Morgan from Henry Clay showing tremendous promise for a program ready for improvement @HCHSDevilsFB, @coachhawkins1, @HCBluedevilsMBB, @bigassfans, @minguabeefjerky, @KyHighFootball

February 14, 2025 Fletcher Long 0

Henry Morgan plays for a program which has seen better days. Henry Clay High won a 4A title in 1981 and played for a second one in 1995. That was when there weren’t but four (4)-classifications. The Blue Devils are ready to get this ship righted and have brought in a proven “program builder” in Phil Hawkins. With talent like Henry Morgan entering his junior season, it won’t be too hard for the Blue Devils to keep it comfortable out there around district 7. Enjoy this feature and let’s keep it cool out there Kentucky!

Storm Warning: Isac Earl maybe the best athlete attending Hopkins County Central @minguabeefjerky, @bigassfans, @ChiefSmoke10, @_CoachManning, @SylasGunn, @carlos_mason52, @HopkinsCentral

February 13, 2025 Fletcher Long 0

If you were to look at all the ways Isac Earl contributed to Central’s bottom line over his junior season, you may draw the conclusion we did. He led the team in passing, led the team in receiving, led the team in scoring, was among the leaders in rushing, tackles, TFLs, and FFs. That is a ton of leadership out of one position. The 5’8,” 165-pound dynamo may be the Storm’s best all-around athlete on the roster not named “Gunn.” Enjoy this feature about a young man who brings on the stormy weather for Central foes.

Pabst deserves his own blue ribbon for his sophomore season @Liamtoml, @minguabeefjerky, @bigassfans, @KyHighFootball, @BeechwoodFB, @beechwood_tiger

February 12, 2025 Fletcher Long 0

One of our favorite songs used to proclaim loving “red necks, white sox, and blue ribbon beer.” The blue ribbon beer was a reference to Pabst Blue Ribbon, a famous brand of alcoholic beverage. We don’t know if the Pabst family who son is a stud ’27 football player in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky bears any type relation to the Pabst family from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Then again, we don’t know that they don’t. What we do know is Nathan Pabst is dad-burn good at football and he makes his team all the better when he contributes his considerable efforts. Enjoy this feature and remember to #SavorTheFlavor.

Slow Motion Replay: Remembering how Ed proved a Miracle for the Golden Bulldogs of Lynch East Main High @minguabeefjerky, @bigassfans, @KyHighFootball

February 10, 2025 Fletcher Long 2

Some of you may not remember Lynch East Main High. If you don’t, you may not remember its legendary, Hall of Fame football coach Ed Miracle. At KPGFootball, we remember everything and take our responsibility as the recorders of KHSAA football history very seriously. Join us now as we remember a guy who retired from coaching in 1992 with a pedigree of success and championships. Yessir, Ed’s career was a Miracle.

BJ Evans, 2026 RB, from Tates Creek (Lexington) is this week’s @bigassfans Kentucky Comfort Creator @BJ_Evans5, @minguabeefjerky, @TC_CommodoresFB, @kyhighfootball

February 7, 2025 Fletcher Long 3

We selected BJ Evans to our Large School All-State Football Offense this past season as only a junior. Rushing for 1,799-yards on 194-carries, scoring 20-TDs and averaging 9.3-yards per carry against Lexington 6A competition will garner one some notice. What will Evans do for an encore? Challenge for the Mr. Football Award and a repeat appearance on our all-state team would be solid guesses. Enjoy this feature and let’s keep it cool out there Kentucky!

Storm Warning: Central has employed Derek Stone to call on good old fashioned, blunt force trauma to build hurting bombs! @Meloishim3, @minguabeefjerky, @bigassfans, @ChiefSmoke10, @_CoachManning, @SylasGunn, @carlos_mason52, @HopkinsCentral

February 6, 2025 Fletcher Long 0

Central has employed a strength and conditioning coach who knows about being and building strong, powerful, and explosive athletes. Derek Stone has been put in charge of building hurting bombs. We want to be the hunters and not the hunted. Derek will be key to this mission going forward. Enjoy this look at the new strength and conditioning coach at Hopkins County Central.

Elite football programs execute in all three phases of football. We feature plenty of offensive and defensive players. We tend to feature kickers and punters. We sometimes forget about the snappers and the holders. Today, we feature a long-snapper from LCA who is a man’s man. Shake his hand and make this discovery. He is instrumental to the Eagles’ on-field success. Enjoy this feature and remember to #SavorTheFlavor.
