The Bell County Bobcats have certainly lost a marquee player in London Stephney. Stephney, headed to the Naval Academy to play football, matriculated to the school from his Knoxville, Tennessee home some 3-4 years ago. He graduated last term. However any team with Dudley Hilton at the helm will always have a chance and Bell County just may be returning more than one realizes. Enjoy this preseason breakdown of a team we expect to be heard from in 3A before a Champion is crowned this coming season. HB.

While the Commodores shouldn’t be as offensively potent in 2020 as they were in 2019, particularly through the air, they have a star left in JT Acosta. Part of what we do is preserve on our database the history of Kentucky High School football both for the purposes of posterity and because the present recorders of history suck at this. In this article we will go back and look at one of Northern Kentucky’s greatest teams ever, the Juggernauts of Lloyd Memorial.

Since it’s the offseason, should we tweak the KHSAA’s RPI formula?

We don’t like the present RPI formula used by the KHSAA. Why? We believe the our of classification enhancement for playing up ridiculously assists the teams who play terrible programs who happen to have larger enrollments. There is a system already being utilized which we believe to be way more accurate. Read this article and let us know what you think. HB.
