This Week’s Stewart Williams Company’s Robertson County Player of the Week is Greenbrier’s Andy Li, Class of 2021

June 1, 2019 Henry Lyon 0

Both Andy’s brother and he were Bret Cooper Junior All-Americans in middle school. Now, Andy is anchoring both sides of the interior fronts for the Greenbrier Bobcats. Even more astounding is how long it took KPGFootball and Stewart Williams Company to make him the Robertson County Player of the Week. High School football teams rise and fall on the efforts of guys like Andy Li. Enjoy this article brought to you by your hometown furniture and appliance store, Stewart Williams Company in Springfield.

Noah Edelen, Class of 2020, from Owensboro Catholic is the Independence Bank Revolutionary POW

May 25, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

Banks partner up with businesses in an effort to make the business, or its interest-holders, successful. Many times the public doesn’t even know which bank’s capital made the venture possible. In that way, Independence Bank is much like an offensive lineman. They labor in relative obscurity so YOU can flourish and get the accolades and glory. Not only does Independence Bank appreciate players who do the same thing on the gridiron, so do we at KPGFootball. That is why we write so much about offensive linemen. Well, if you love the bigs as much as we, Noah Edelen is your guy. Enjoy this article about one of the better interior OL in the 3A Classification and join us next week as we recognize another worthy player.

Nothing makes a program appear it has things rolling any better than an endless succession of quality front-line guys. Springfield High School certainly has its program rocketing. Coach Dustin Wilson will have the Jackets ready for action again in 2019 and we believe Tres Haley will be an integral part. Check out this week’s Stewart Williams Company Robertson County Player of the Week and join us next week when we award a new recipient.

Javion Rivers from Kenwood High School is the Meeks & Meeks attorneys Montgomery County Player of the Week

May 17, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

Not a lot about this prospect as we couldn’t even find his height and weight anywhere on line. Just another example of why what we do at KPGFootball is so vital for these kids. We were able to watch his film and believe he will be back at Kenwood for the Fall of 2019 as he was listed on Kenwood’s 2019 roster and there were several other references to him on line coming back for the Fall season. This is the type of player a new coach can definitely impact and if Les Greer brings to the table the attributes which got him the job, this player may be one of the heaviest beneficiaries. Congratulations to Javion Rivers for being this week’s Meeks & Meeks Attorneys Montgomery County Player of the Week. Join us next week as we crown a new recipient.

Hopkins County Central’s Kaison Osbourne is this weeks Independence Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week

May 16, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

Losing a 6-1, 280 pounder from the middle of your lines of scrimmage is never an easy hole to fill. The Storm will miss big Kaison Osbourne who will playing on Saturdays in the Fall at the University of the Cumberlands. Thought we better hurry up and award him the Independence Bank’s Revolutionary Player of the week before he got away to college. Join us next week when we award the distinction to another deserving player from the fastest growing bank in the commonwealth of Kentucky.

@TrentonTuttle2 is the Stewart Williams Company’s Robertson County Player of the Week

May 16, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

We have before awarded this to Trenton Tuttle but after having the opportunity to get to see him at combines over the previous two weekends we were compelled to give it to him another time. This kid is tough, competitive, explosive, and a blue collar type hard worker. We love Trenton Tuttle-types both at Stewart Williams Furniture and at KPGFootball. Join us next week as we select another recipient.

Anias MItchell, from Browning Springs Middle School is this week’s Independence Bank, Revolutionary Player of the Week

May 11, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

In honor of the upcoming Kentucky-Tennessee Future Stars Classic, we thought we would honor a Madisonville area middle schooler. We have already awarded this award to Jordan Miles who made Team Kentucky as a DB. We thought why not award it to Anias MItchell, who is an Alternate and isn’t quite on the team yet but has certainly shown he belongs in unique company when it comes to playing the game of football.
