It probably isn’t easy being the son of one of the most recognizable Kentucky Wildcats in the history of that program. It isn’t easy to have to play DE for one of Kentucky’s marquee programs especially among the smaller classifications of schools. Lots of things in life aren’t easy. One still has to soldier on and find ones own way. Chase Couch is doing just that and, in the offing, becoming one of his class’s more targeted edge rushers. HB.

Dan Goble, a man whose teams terrorized the 4A classification when it was known in Kentucky as “big boy football” for 11-years has gained enshrinement into the KHSAA’s Hall of Fame Class of 2023. The magazine championed this cause. It numbers prominently among our greatest achievements.

How in the world did it take so long to appreciate the on-field performance of Michael Hughes, Jr.? Frankly, we are a tad embarrassed to admit not knowing the answer to this. It would help if the kid would sign up for Twitter like every other football prospect in the known universe.
