Andrew Long is a star football player and high school linebacker with an incredibly high ceiling and incredible production from his junior campaign (2018). Check out this article about one of the very best LBs in the 2A classification and in Kentucky’s Class of 2020.

We make no bones about it, Joshuah Keith is the best QB in the class of 2024 anywhere in Kentucky in our opinion. He may be 2024’s very best football player too. A lot of what makes him different is his poise and football IQ. Than there is an 8th grader who runs in the high 4.6’s, low 4.7’s, in the 40 and shuttles in a blistering 4.0-flat. Of course his throwing a HS ball 59-yards this summer in Knoxville
When Phillip Fulmer, now the AD at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, but once a National Championship winning football coach at the same school, met Kiyaunta Goodwin he exclaimed it was like being in the movie “The Blind Side” a second time. That movie featured the coming of age of Michael Oher who went on to become one of the NFL’s marquee tackles. Of course Michael Oher was only 6-4, 315-pounds. Kiyaunta Goodwin is 6-8, 350. Regardless, Kiyaunta has been
This is a phenomenon we discussed with Darion’s father just yesterday. Why was EKU the first to evaluate Dearinger and then only offer after two bigger, more prestigious schools pulled the trigger. This Woodford County product is rare among high school athletes, smooth, and comes in small batches. All of this sounds eerily like the Brown-Foreman Corporation’s whiskey known, world-wide, as “Woodford Reserve.” Enjoy this article about a young QB entering his sophomore year who we think, around the magazine, will be pretty special too.
This guy has represented Kentucky in the Future Stars game and, coming out of middle school, is widely regarded one of the best football players in Kentucky’s 2023 class of prospects. What will he do under the shine of the lights on Friday Night? Well, that is anyone’s guess. We believe he will be an early contributor for the Panthers coming off a 10-4 season in 2018 and a birth in the Class 4A semi-finals. Enjoy this article.
We thought it would be fun to look in on one of the Kings of Kentucky Football, the Beechwood High School Tigers. The boys from Fort Mitchell have put up both an enviable and unmatched record of sustained excellence which includes 3 State 1A football titles in a row (2016, 17, 18), one runner-up (2015), 5 Regional Titles and appearances in the Semis (2009, 10, 11, 12, and 14) and a regional runner-up in 2013. Over that decade the Tigers
Some pretty significant players from across Kentucky are nursing some injuries which could possibly impact their teams’ performances in 2019. Here are just a few of the more notable players reported as having sustained injury to KPGFootball. We are sure there are more. We can’t report on what we aren’t told. HB.
