The 6th grade Team Kentucky Future Stars about to realize a “Spike (Isaac Sowells, Jr.)” in production…

May 10, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

Isaac Sowells, Jr. is an acorn whom didn’t fall far from the tree. Isaac Sowells, Sr. played at Indiana before being drafted in the 4th round of the 2006 draft and playing several years in “the league (NFL).” This is a kid who is not a normal 6th grade athlete and whom will continue to be athletically superlative for as long as he plays we project. Enjoy this article about a kid nicknamed, “Spike.”

Matt Alex Ladd (Class of 2023), Team Kentucky’s Man in the Middle…

May 9, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

Michael Jackson once wrote that he was going to start with the “Man in the Mirror.” When selecting a line of scrimmage, KPGFootball starts with the “Man in the Middle.” That “Man” for us is Matt Alex Ladd from Trigg County who is back to provide a cornerstone for this year’s version of Team Kentucky Future Stars (8th).

May 9, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

Ever heard of dynamite coming in small packages? Here’s a guy not quite 5-feet tall who has been selected to both Team Kentucky Future Stars and to the FBU National Elite Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana. He has shone both places from what we hear. Kid will line up at receiver and if you blink, Tennessee, he’ll be gone. He will come up big for HMS next Fall too. Meet Treston Kay. You know the drill; better get it around today while it’s free because tomorrow it goes behind the paywall.

Treyvian “Chip” Bunton is back to knock the block off of the Tennessee Future Stars

May 8, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

This is Bowling Green’s Treyvian Bunton who is Cheryl Hodges-Buntin’s grand-baby. She calls him “Chip” but we can assure you encountering the block from off of which his “Chip” was knocked would be quite the scary conundrum. Tennessee better hope ole Chip doesn’t show up in Clarksville looking for some blocks with whom to knock heads. This kid is no kid, at least not anatomically. Enjoy this article about one of Bowling Green, Kentucky’s finest.

In Kentucky’s Class of 2023, is @kadennumba9 (Kaden Briggs) really much higher ranked than that? We think so…

May 8, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

We have covered this class of 2023 DE from Louisville for over a year. He continues to blossom, grow, and develop and Tennessee will encounter a much bigger, more developed, Kaden Briggs than what terrorized them a year ago at this time. We ranked him No. 3, KY-wide, on our list of top 2023 prospects. Enjoy this article about Kaden Briggs from Louisville, KY, headed to Butler Traditional to play his high school football.

Morgan County’s Jason Perry strikes quite the pose for Team Kentucky’s 7th-grade Future Stars team

May 7, 2019 Fletcher Long 1

Ever heard the song “The Freaks Come Out at Night?” Well, the nighttime isn’t the only time you’ll see anatomical freaks during Future Stars season. They will be everywhere up and down the field wearing both orange and blue. There will be none any more impressive than Morgan County’s Jason Perry, or at least that is our wager. Check out this feature about Kentucky’s very own freak of a 7th grade football player.

Keegan Hill (Photo:Captured Memories by Christi) from Alexandria, KY the “NapolĂ©on” of Team Kentucky Future Stars (8th) to face a diminutive field general in his own right, Tennessee’s Jordyn Potts…

May 7, 2019 Fletcher Long 2

Two QBs who have had tremendous success under center but neither of whom are the framed out type of pro-style guys generally playing in a game like this will square off on June 15 in Clarksville, Tennessee at Fortera Stadium. Both of these guys have “it.” By “it” we mean all the intangibles which make one a difference maker at the QB position. Meet Keegan Hill (KY) and Jordyn Potts (TN) and get ready for what should be quite the battle.

Deangelo Patterson, RB, Class of 2023…

May 6, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

Teams are always looking for help at RB. Having entering 9th graders who can tote the mail like this kid is of invaluable importance to any program. Rising 9th graders like Deangelo Patterson are not your garden variety of rising 9th graders. Players like him find themselves immediately in the discussion for PT. The same will be true of Patterson when he hits the 9th grade hallways at WCHS.
