’26 RB is following up an All-State season with what appears to be a second one
We don’t know what it is about Middlesboro, Kentucky but they seem to grow 5’9,” 200-pound, down hill, rolling balls of granite and rushing prowess on trees. We know many of you remember Daniel Thomas, who rode his teammates, and program, to a “Mr. Football Award” on his way to play collegiately. Dudley HIlton seems to have developed another one in ’26 Kaleb Miller. Miller is 5’9,” 205-pounds, who runs a 4.6-second, 40-yard dash and sports a 3.5-GPA. This guy, and guys like him, will always have their teams in contention. True to form, the Bobcats are right in the thick of things.

Middlesboro, KY: You may have heard of Kaleb Miller. Miller made our Big Ass Fans, Small School, All-State offense a year ago.

It was a well deserved honor. Miller, as a junior, rushed for 2,100 yards, scored 29-rushing TDs, and was in the top five (5) rushing leaders in the KHSAA.
Miller was the District 7, Player of the Year. That was in addition to making our All-State team.
You would have to forgive Bell County fans if they were awaiting this coming season with bated breath. Miller is not disappointing anyone.
So far this season, Miller has registered 38-carries for 311-yards and five (5) TDs in his first two (2) games. These weren’t “Joe Slappies” the Bobcats were playing either.
One game was against an 11-win, 1A team on the road (Campbellsville). The other was against a 4A team (Perry County Central) expected to do some things entering the ’25 season.

Miller’s performance was “clutch” in both games. Over the two games, Miller averaged 155.5 yards while leading the team in scoring, with 34-points, to include five (5)-TDs and two (2), two (2)-pointers.
The Bobcats expect big things from their returning first team all-state running back. One thing always expected around Bell County is a deep playoff run. The Bobcats appear poised to deliver.
One thing is clear. Having a gifted, 200-plus pound athlete in the offensive backfield, with a 3.5-GPA, coming off an all-state junior season is one heck of a fine place to start the championship journey. Two and zero in the won-loss column ain’t too bad either!
