No matter the age of a love one, and regardless of the certainty of death, we never seem ready for someone to leave us. We shouldn’t feel for the one who leaves, they are going to a better place. We should (and often do) feel for the ones left behind. My best friend’s dad has passed and my friend is (understandably) distraught. We all are, especially around the offices of the magazine. Bobby Rogers was a one of a kind guy who knew just how to father, husband, or even pull off being a great friend. Bobby will be missed. Enjoy this memorial to him and his memory.

There will be those who will tell you the newly consolidated “Tigers,” from Christian County High, will go as far next season as new players like the one we are today featuring can lead them. The newly consolidated school shouldn’t hurt for talent and the Tigers are amassing an array of coaching talent to “put the team through its paces” in its upcoming inaugural season. Regardless, young guns will be critical. Good thing there will be young men roaming the hallways who are also extremely talented.
