We love athletes who remember the “student” portion of “student-athlete.” Nehemiah Lucky is certainly one of those. Lucky sports a 3.8 GPA at Louisville’s Fern Creek High. That doesn’t mean he can’t play some ball. He was elected captain a year ago in spite of his only getting to play in 6-games and was still among the club leaders in stops. He is 5’10,” 155-pounds, plays WR but could double in HS at DB, and he’s an excellent student on top of the other physical attributes he undeniably possesses. The time is fast approaching when we will say “Goodbye” to covering ’23’s and move into the younger set. We are two-days, post-NSD, so the clock is ticking. Taylor Hansford plays MLB for Taylor County. I imagine a guy named “Taylor” should quarterback the defense for “Taylor” County. However, one should never read too much into a name. This particular Taylor just happens to be a fine football player. Enjoy the feature. HB.
