We have been featuring quite a few young ball players from London, KY’s North Laurel High. Some of you may be wondering why? It isn’t as if the Jaguars have been owning the 5A classification (6-6 in ’22). However, this team has some really nice talent coming down the pipelines and their days of hanging around .500 seems numbered. HB.
If you are picking early favorites for next season’s ‘Mr. Football,’ this guy here would seem as safe a bet as any. He is very versatile, running for over a thousand yards in 13-games and catching nearly 30-footballs swinging out of the backfield. Enjoy the feature. HB.
They call him the 5-6-Reaper. When you see him play, you will understand. His continued development will kill opposing running attacks, particularly those bent on running inside. Enjoy the feature. HB.
Patrick Carr is a bright, shining example of how an athlete will always find a way to succeed. Patrick plays TE, punts, and place kicks. He plays football, soccer, and basketball. He is among the more polished and sought after TE’s in Kentucky’s ’25 class of prospects and he is (of course) our Revolutionary Player of the Week. Enjoy this feature from Kentucky’s fastest growing financial institution; setting the standard for excellence in the financial services, Kentucky market. HB.
’26 RB/DB had promising year; will make huge strides next season Cooper Robinson was among the more physically gifted 9th graders playing 5A football across Kentucky over the ’22 season. He gained 9-games of action as a freshman which, standing alone, is quite an accomplishment. This player is only going […]
Demauriah Brown from Danville High has just completed a sophomore football season which would have landed hm on our sophomore all-state football team were we still compiling one. As it is, his performance should net consideration for him for the AP team, whose nominations should open any time. Enjoy this feature about this very fine sophomore RB/DB/Ath and don’t forget to #Savortheflavor. HB
It probably isn’t easy being the son of one of the most recognizable Kentucky Wildcats in the history of that program. It isn’t easy to have to play DE for one of Kentucky’s marquee programs especially among the smaller classifications of schools. Lots of things in life aren’t easy. One still has to soldier on and find ones own way. Chase Couch is doing just that and, in the offing, becoming one of his class’s more targeted edge rushers. HB.
This guy here seems to have all the ear-markings for Kentucky’s next star TE in the high school ranks. He plays for a marquee program in the 6A classification, has a desirable frame which plenty of room for “good weight.” To top it all off, he can also LS. Enjoy the feature. HB.
Lots of people out there believe Solomon Conley is the best LBer in Kentucky’s ’25 class. Of course, the Kory Combs fans (Breathitt) would argue, but that is what makes this the greatest game there is. Both of these young ’25’s are top-notch. Here’s our look at Conley. Enjoy the feature. FL.
Dan Goble, a man whose teams terrorized the 4A classification when it was know in Kentucky as “big boy football” for 11-years has gained enshrinement into the KHSAA’s Hall of Fame Class of 2023. The magazine championed this cause. It numbers prominently among our greatest achievements.
