Drew Hardin is among the better athletes playing football across Kentucky at the high school level. He is 5’11,” 165-pounds, doubles at safety on defense, and contributes to the return/coverage units on special teams. He is a three-phase guy on a 5A roster which travels to Winchester, KY tonight riding a 5-0 record. This one tonight against GRC is a big one. The Everly brothers told us “Johnny [was] a Joker (He’s a bird)/ A very funny joker (He’s a bird)… What they would have told us, were they still with us, is that Johnny isn’t the only Bird. Nash Bird is a “Bird” and a very smooth and not so funny weapon for whom to have to game plan if you are playing Coach Scott Marsh’s football team. Bird had a huge junior year and was a player who should have been on our Large School All-State Football Team. What can we tell you? We missed. We have our eyes on him now and if he continues to play his senior season the way he played in ’25, I wouldn’t count on us missing him a second time. Enjoy this feature.
