The Hazard Bulldogs, when they unload off the bus, just never look like how you would think a 1A team would look. They are always big, brutish, physical, well-coached, and in the 1A title-hunt. One problem they have is the emergence of district-foe, Pikeville, as the classification’s preeminent team. With young talent like Zane Deaton and Elijah Gayheart, coach Howard will find his way. We have chosen to bid farewell to a class of football players on whom we “cut our teeth” so to speak. These guys were on our first KPGFootball Sophomore All-State team. These guys never let us down and we don’t see them disappointing us in college either. Good-bye class of 2020, we will miss you…we will forever love and remember you.
