Paducah Tilghman is loaded with athletes. With Kentucky’s top-rated Track & Field program, they are also loaded with speed. D.J. Wilson is one of the class of ’26’s top guys in the offensive backfield. Already a thousand yard rusher in his sophomore season, Paducah fans are excited about what this young man may develop into being. It isn’t uncommon for players to play high school football for their dads. Matter of fact, 1956 Heisman, runner-up, and College Football Hall of Famer, Johnny “The Drum” Majors, played for his dad in high school (Shirley Majors) at Huntland High. Often, as was the case in the Majors’s situation, the son is the dad’s very best player. Mike Marksbury has done a wonderful job at Spencer County.
