Dan Goble deserved to be inducted into the KHSAA Hall of Fame for what his teams did on the football field. We helped spearhead this push for his induction and successfully. It is one of the noblest callings for which we have ever been summoned. We were honored to be invested in the search for justice and propriety.

We like the Aces to get back to Lexington this coming season and believe they will escape with the crown. We also believe programs like Beechwood, LCA, and Mayfield will have a bunch to say about it. Ethan Bowling has been a “high energy guy” since coming out of the middle school ranks one of the better thought of prospects in the region at that level of play. He hasn’t disappointed in high school. Bowling is a two-way star along the Breathitt fronts and plays with the zeal which has transformed him into a fan favorite. Enjoy this feature. This player has made every All-Whatever Team available to him in his short HS career and figures to keep making these teams. He has the nose for the football one would expect from a kid whose dad (Shorty Combs) is considered a mountain football legend and former EKU linebacking star. Hagan Harrison was rumored injured. However, he looks “full go” to us the preseason. This is why we generally don’t report on injuries.
