When last we heard, Catholic was going to have the Devil of a time holding on to its Mr. Football candidate at QB, Brady Atwell. It appears Owensboro Catholic has weathered the storm there. Truthfully, they did a little better than just weather that storm. They have added some big-time 2nd level talent from nearby Owensboro Senior High, Dereon Crowe. Enjoy the feature. How good can the Aces be in 2019? Well, they are losing a ton of production from off of 2018’s 8-4 squad but return an All-Stater at QB and still have the second leading rusher and receiver back for another year. It will take production from players like this week’s Revolutionary Player of the Week, but we believe the Aces will come up all-aces!
