Cooper Jones hasn’t played a ton of football at the varsity level, YET! That doesn’t mean he won’t. Matter of fact, we think this guy challenges this coming Fall camp at both guard slots as well as at center. He’s got some ground to make up; but, if he is diligent, he can demonstrate the same type revolutionary performance which has made Independence Bank stand out in Kentucky financial service’s market. Brady Atwell has been called the QB prospect with the highest ceiling starting under center for the Aces in a long, long time. Scary thing is, he may be a better prospect at LBer according to one of his coaches. Harold Patterson’s Eagles really struggled in the opener against the Red Devils from Owensboro High School. Not many teams invade Red Devil Stadium and come away looking too good. The Eagles really need to rebound tonight when Meade County’s “Green Wave” come crashing into Apollo’s shore looking for high tide. Coach Edge’s Eagles will need another performance like Patterson turned in against Owensboro (Senior) High to have a chance to emerge victorious.
