We aren’t going to lie to you. We prefer not to give this award to QBs all the time and we are really hesitant to award it to “past winners.” We strive to spread it around as there are so many weekly worthy players. However, sometimes a former winner, and even a QB, render a performance impossible to ignore. This week, Cameron Hergott, who has put up ridiculous numbers all season, had another performance we just couldn’t ignore. So, the EKU commit wins it again. We had another big week and so did these guys we have featured in this weekly series. This week we feature 27-current stars, one coach, and two teams among the performances “singled out.” We believe one of these guys is very likely to win the Mingua Beef Jerky Award this Wednesday. For the third consecutive week we canvass the commonwealth digging for exceptional performances to highlight and perhaps reward. This week we featured some 21 or so performances, and 26 if you want to count the offensive line from Madisonville who will be tough to beat for any award with their performance from this past weekend.
