Paducah Tilghman kicks off its playoff journey tonight with a home game against 3-7 Marion County in Paducah, KY. Historically in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) football playoffs, 1-seeds hold an overwhelming win rate of over 95% against 4-seeds in the opening round. Upsets do occasionally happen, but the cross-district pairing system is designed to reward dominant regular seasons with heavily favored home matchups to kick off the bracket. Paducah is 10-0, looking for win number 11, so there is that. Jaden Powell is a 6’0,” 165-pound WR who is a junior and able to stretch the field. He runs the 40 in 4.5-seconds and averages over 17-yards a reception. Enjoy this look at our weekly, Kentucky Comfort Creator from your friends at Big Ass Fans as he kicks off his own playoff journey tonight.
