Triston “TK” Kay has had quite the career at Hoptown as a performer the Tigers could turn to for production whether on offense, defense, or special teams. He enters his senior year among the most versatile performers in all of the KHSAA. His head football coach swears he is among the best 50-players in all of Kentucky. Daisjaun Mercer is clearly taller than he has been consistently listed. We had heard that, but his running into Coach Long and me at the Hoptown/County basketball game the other night just proved it. He’s going to continue to stand tall as he enters his “Senior Year.” He may even prove tall enough to bring home the “Mr. Football” award this coming Fall. HB.
