What a moment for Jayleigh Campbell. She is a ’27 PK who came over from the soccer team to lend a hand (or a foot) to the boys varsity football team. Well, Friday night, during the team’s inaugural Homecoming at the consolidated school, Campbell did something extra special. The senior placekicker became the ultimate hero of the night by kicking the game-winning, 24-yard field goal in overtime. This win was the upset of the night in KHSAA 6A football, it was highly improbable, and it gave the Tigers a chance to get the home gate in round one of the upcoming playoffs. Way to go Campbell.
