Kohnner Trent had a special season. Matter of fact, the entire Raider roster had an unprecedented level of success under Chad Griffin, one of Kentucky’s hottest commodities in the coaching community. Enjoy this look at a kid coming off an All-State selection. Who knows what the future will hold?

The penultimate in high school football is gaining the inestimable privilege of getting to practice football on Thanksgiving. Well, there are 24 teams left who get this privilege and get to build this life-long memory. Half of the remaining will run out onto Kroger Field and play for a championship. Which 12 will it be? We attempt to answer that for you right here. Friday Night Fletch

@julian_barbour is reclassifying under the ‘Academic Re-Do Law’ and Coach @lasley_eric and @CavernaHighKY couldn’t be more thrilled about it. @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @1776Bank

Coach Eric Lasley has to be excited to be getting a player like Julian Barbour. I know Barbour was listed as a ’21 but he has told KPGFootball he will use his Re-Do to reclassify as a ’22. If he puts up numbers commensurate with the numbers he was on track to put up a year ago, look out! There will be plenty of suitors lining up to get on this prospect’s next-level dance card. @dbutler105 (Dustin Butler) from Hart County is the @minguabeefjerky “Protein-packed Performer” of the Week. @CurtisB05159591 @1776Bank @HartCountyFball @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball

Here’s a guy who is a star in the ’21 class but who is young enough to stay back and reclassify as a ’22 player. There is at least one college football program we have consulted who would like to see him reclassify and would like to take a run at him should he decide to do so. This guy has D-1 skills. He has an ample frame. He has a huge brain. There are lots of possibilities for Butler on the next level. Enjoy this look at this week’s “Protein-packed Performer,” Hart County’s Dustin Butler. HB.
