He’s the premier performer at his position anywhere in Kentucky. His name is Carter Guillaume and he is the offensive center for St. Xavier’s Tiger football program. He’s way more than just that. This kid here has all the attributes one would want for the cornerstone of the offensive line either in high school or college. We have given this award to him before, but this degree of outstanding is worthy of recognition whether or not he has been before adorned. This is quite possibly the standard across Kentucky for interior offensive line play and particularly at the center slot in the ’24 class. We believe Carter Guillaume is the best offensive center playing football anywhere in Kentucky’s high school version of the game today, at any level of play. As the Associated Press’s All-State teams were released a few weeks ago, it would be safe to assume we aren’t alone in this assessment.
