People always want to know how we’re able to identify a future high school star so early in that star’s high school career. Well, it isn’t as hard as you think. Look for the young player who pours it on in the offseason, mix in some measurables and early PT, and that will usually be ‘your guy.’ Big D is our guy and he is also among a handful of the fine OC’s around the commonwealth of Kentucky. If you have been reading our weekly “Outstanding Performances…” articles, the series of articles should have impressed upon you how very difficult winning this award really is. We had another spectacular week where there were numerous performances any one of which would have been a fine performance to single-out. This week, week four of the playoffs, we honor a senior who did a whole lot of everything in leading his team to its Regional Championship.
