Well, the high-schoolers were off this week and the middle-schoolers took center stage. There were some unbelievable performances from the KYMSFA semi-finals. Here are this week’s jerky finalists, so to speak. HB.
Breathitt Middle has beaten Meece (14-8) and Johnson County (20-8) in successive game and are entering the KYMSFA playoff seeded second in its region (behind a team it has already beaten) and undefeated. They boast two of the best players in the Class of 2025 in top-dog, Kory Combs, and big man, Sawyer Hall. Look out KYMSFA-title, the ‘Cats are coming for you!
