We don’t know exactly from where the term “Pancake” block originated though we will attempt to trace it in this article. We do know one when we see one and it leaves the defender flat on his back like a pancake. They don’t call this buy “Pancake” Pellman because it sounds swell. They call him that for a very valid reason. Enjoy the article.

This week’s recipient is simply among the hottest in-commonwealth prospects in all of Kentucky presently. With his academic performance, particularly where he has performed, expect him to fetch offers other athletes can only dream of getting. Kid is a true 4.4-second forty, you don’t see those very often playing HS football in Kentucky. Enjoy the feature and join us next week when another worthy recipient is similarly honored. HB.

The loudest voice in the #LetUsPlay movement may belong to @ifitz03_isaiah (Isaiah Fitzpatrick) from @AndersonCoFB, with good reason!

August 18, 2020 Henry Lyon 0

Well, simply put, this article is a flexing of our scouting muscle. There isn’t a single sports entity, outside of Anderson County, who even knows who this prospect is, much less that he is now prepared to set fire to the KHSAA’s 5th-district in Class 4A. Isaiah Fitzpatrick has grown, added muscle, dropped his 40-time from 4.6 to 4.42, and is ready to use his senior film to get some major attention. If given a chance this year, he is going to kill it. #LetHimPlay! Enjoy the article. It is why we are so different than (and superior to) any other entity covering this sport in the commonwealth of Kentucky. Know one knows even half what we do! HB.

Louisville’s Corey Taylor, The Man behind The Men!

February 12, 2020 Henry Lyon 0

Sure, Tyler Morris and Jaylin “The Boss” Bross are among the best football players in Kentucky in their respective classes. Neither of them got there by themselves. Enjoy this article about “The Man who is behind The Men” who are tearing it up at combines this offseason and will further kill it on gridirons across Kentucky this coming Fall. HB.

Louisville’s Kiyaunta Goodwin ready to bang with the big boys!

August 8, 2019 Henry Lyon 0

When Phillip Fulmer, now the AD at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, but once a National Championship winning football coach at the same school, met Kiyaunta Goodwin he exclaimed it was like being in the movie “The Blind Side” a second time. That movie featured the coming of age of Michael Oher who went on to become one of the NFL’s marquee tackles. Of course Michael Oher was only 6-4, 315-pounds. Kiyaunta Goodwin is 6-8, 350. Regardless, Kiyaunta has been favorably compared to such greats for years now and has the opportunity, this season, to come of age and really showcase what he can do. You see, the player formerly playing 1A football for Holy Cross has now transferred to Louisville’s Ballard High School (6A). Enjoy the article.

We have rediscovered Christopher Forehand Jr. during this camp/combine season and we predict he will be a household name this coming high school, varsity season. Here’s Mud[d] in your eye…Class of 2021’s John Mudd

June 6, 2019 Henry Lyon 1

You know the toast, “Here’s mud in your eye” takes on a different connotation completely when you add a “d” to the end of “mud” and capitalize the “M.” Big John Mudd, ranked the 20th best OL in all of Kentucky and 9th best in the Class of 2021, gets in a lot of eyes and it is none too pleasant we hear. This is a guy whose move to the interior OL could net him tremendous benefit owing to his present frame. However, his present frame may not be where he frames out ultimately. Enjoy this article about a kid who has worked himself into a major college prospect.
