Kamran Harrison has this final go around to his football career. He has played well when available for the entire season and on the field. This season upcoming promises to yield prodigious production. We are so excited about the ’25 season we can hardly wait for tomorrow night. We believe the Storm is in for a big season if it can stay healthy, leave the off the field problems off the field, and limit some of the mistakes and turnovers which plagued the ball club a year ago. One thing is for certain and not open for much debate, Kamran Harrison has the ability to be a big part of what the club does going forward particularly on the defensive side of the scrimmage line.

Morton’s Gap, KY: Kamran Harrison didn’t get as much PT in ’24 as we had hoped he would. Harrison was coming off a monster sophomore season.
Kamran Harrison, as a sophomore, registered 55-tackles at OLB, registered a TFL, a QB-sack, and a FF along the way. Harrison, who can play WR on offense, only caught a single ball in ’23. However, that single pass went for 24-yards and a TD.
In ’24, Harrison only got five games of playing time. Harrison had some personal improvement to undergo and in ’24 he felt his best place to make some of these changes was away from the program. Harrison is back now, at full tilt, and ready to make up for lost time.
The 5’10, 180-pounder registered 35-tackles, a TFL, and a FF on the defensive side of the ball in his five (5) games. It doesn’t appear he played much offensively; or, if he did, he wasn’t targeted sufficiently to register any receiving statitistics.
Harrison will be called upon, particularly offensively, more in ’25 than he was in ’24. Part of that is the mere fact of his being a senior as opposed to being a sophomore or junior.
We expect a level of excellence from players named ‘Harrison’ around the Storm FB program
Chris Manning, Head Football Coach
We were able to catch up to head football coach, Chris Manning. Manning told KPGFootball, “We expect a level of excellence from players named ‘Harrison’ around the Storm football program. We like what we have gotten from Kam since his return. I, for one, am excited to see how he does with more plays from scrimmage and a full accoutrement of opportunity under his belt. Kam is a kid we need on the field.”

Harrison has been a member of both the Track & Field team at Central and the Power-lifting team. Harrison is an accomplished powerlifter and among the most powerful and explosive kids, his size and age, in Kentucky.
Every year Harrison has been a member of the varsity football team, and he played as a freshman, he has found a way to contribute mightily to the team’s bottom line. Every year he has improved dramatically with a set back last season. With his fourth season upcoming, there is nothing to suggest that his playing trajectory, going forward, will spiral any direction other than up.
If this guy should improve as dramatically as he did from his freshman to sophomore seasons, we are looking at a regular target offensively in the downfield passing game and a guy pushing 100-tackles in 2025 as a senior.
That can’t possibly do anything but help the Storm. Amen to that!
