’25, two-way, multi-phase contributor gives team loads of bang for the buck!
In an offseason where we have focused on versatilely, and with the season looming around the corner, Isaac Manning looks to find himself target as “The Man” when The Storm opens play in the latter stages of August, 2024. Manning is a versatile athlete who thrives in more than just football. He is fast, athletic, and a player heavily relied upon when the offense breaks the huddle. Thing is…he looks poised to play more defense this coming season.

We are sliding into a ’24 football season which will be here before you know it. Just talked with Scott Fitzgerald the other day to firm up just when the podcast will commence. It will be around the 17th of August, by the by.
One topic of conversation around the magazine has been forming a “watch list” for our small and large school All-State Football teams. We will have a new corporate sponsor this year but look for the same coverage and an end of the year reveal show like last season.
A team which has been represented of late on our All-State teams has been Central. Calil McNary just finished a career which saw him hailed as the definitive player at his position (FB) for the previous two years.
NcNary was on our All-State Football team the last two years. McNary won’t make the ’24 team. His eligibility has exhausted.

Friday Night Fletch
One guy the Storm should keep an eye on going forward is Isaac Manning. Manning had a very good season in ’23 and has the athletic skill to make a run at the year end, All-State squad.
Manning completed a pass in ’23; led the team in receptions, led the team in yards gained receiving, and led the team in TD pass receptions. Manning finished fifth in scoring, registered a handful of tackles, recorded a TFL, and an INT he returned 45-yards. His INT-return was good enough to see him finish third in IRNYs (Interception Return Net Yards).
If you look at Manning’s performance in track, his success seems entirely appropriate. Speed, in football, is undefeated.
Manning clips off the 100-meters in 11.98-seconds, runs the 200-meters in 24.86-seconds, and is a member of the 4X100, 4X200, and 4X400 relay teams. Track times are fully automated. This ain’t no daddy-time!
These times are legit. Suffice it to say, the kid can flat-out fly.
As we approach the season, be on the look out for Manning to take off like a rocket. The secrets of both his prowess and ability are among the worst kept ones around the western-Kentucky area. The entire commonwealth will both soon and shortly be in on it!
