’24 dual-threat QB should be getting plenty of ‘shine’
Tucker Warren is a dual-threat QB who both ran and threw for over a thousand yards over his junior season. Tucker has the Jaguars poised for success as the team finished 6-6 a year ago in 5A which included a game they were forced to forfeit. The Jaguars look to have plenty of weapons loaded for the ’23 Fall.

There are some real weapons playing HS football in London, Kentucky let us assure you. North Laurel looks particularly poised to make some noise this upcoming season.
We have featured quite a few Jaguars this offseason. You have to be stockpiling some playing talent to get the attention of HB and the Scouting Division around our magazine. These guys don’t just fall for any and everything traipsing across a football field.
North Laurel has what we call (in the country) a good-un’. Tucker Warren is as dangerous to the defense with his feet as with his arm. Pick your poison…
Matter of fact, there may be no better HS QB, anywhere in the commonwealth, than North Laurel’s Warren. Warren is an athlete who personifies balanced attack as an offensive weapon in the Jaguars’ offensive attack. Get this…he plays a little defense too.
Warren completed 106 for 1,287-passing yards and 10-TD’s while compiling 1,154-yards rushing and 14-TD’s by land

Basically, Warren is a football player’s, football player. This guy completed 106 of his 203-passing attempts in 2022 for 1,287-passing yards and 10-TD’s. Warren rushed for 1,154-yards and scored 14-TD’s rushing.
Warren led the team in scoring with 96-points, and remember; QB’s aren’t credited for scoring TD’s thrown as those points are apportioned to the WR’s. When QB’s lead the team in scoring, it is significant as that is a statistic tailor-made for WR’s and RB’s.
Warren is a versatile athlete who competes in more than just football. Warren is also a stalwart on the Track & Field team demonstrating his superior athleticism.
High school football teams are built on the backs of versatile talents similar to the talents possessed by Warren and player like him. Let’s see if his rare blend of athletic gifts results in even rarer results for the team this coming Fall.
