@EastonJessie1, a ’25 prospect at QB, is primed for the big-time. @scottie_glasgow @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @1776Bank @KyHighFootball @MaxPreps

There are some mighty fine QB-prospects around Kentucky. With the caliber of play we have enjoyed in recent years from the position, who would be at all skeptical?

Glasgow High has nearly unparalleled tradition as a Class 3A powerhouse program on the western end of Kentucky. Between the Blue Tornado from Paducah and the Scotties from Glasgow the path to Kroger Field will run through one or the other, it seems, for the time-being and foreseeable future.

Prospects like Easton Jessie formulate much of the reason why. Jessie is 6-1, 170 pound with plenty of remaining room on his frame to finish out the way the recruiters prefer.

Jessie is heady, has a lithe, accurate arm. Jessie, as his highlights linked to the right will attest, can make all the throws on the route tree.

Jessie was effective playing QB for the varsity Scotties in ’21, a year which would see them finish 12-2 and lose in the Semis to Finalist, Paducah Tilghman. How good was Tilghman? Many believe the Blue Tornado were one fumble away from a title in ’21.

On the year, Jessie completed 37 of his 61 passing attempts. He threw for 686-yards and 7-passing TDs against 4-interceptions.

Jessie was equally effective on the ground. Jessie gained 198-yards rushing in 60-attempts with a ground-score for his efforts.

The kid had 15-stops on defense. Not a bad year, even if we were evaluating him as a DB. This would be especially true for any freshman playing on one of 3A’s more stocked rosters.

Easton Jessie looks more than primed for big-time, Kentucky High School football in ’22 and beyond. This might well be a name you should write somewhere and keep for posterity.

You may be looking at a future FBS, Power-5 target; and a “Mr. Football” candidate in the Fall of ’25. You never know.
