Chris Larkey walks the sidelines at the same school his dad, Tom, developed into a consistent contender who teams often dreaded playing in the day. The boys from the Rock are always hard, with apologies to Easy E. Enjoy this look at the type talent which generally reverses varsity programs’ fortunes. Also, learn a little something about getting recruited and the type information colleges want to see warehoused on your social media sites like Twitter. HB.

How many freshmen find the field and measurably contribute to a Kentucky 6A roster sufficiently stacked to win the title at Kentucky’s largest classification of competition? Not many we would think. This week, our Protein-packed Performer, did just that in ’22. Enjoy this feature about this very fine freshman and don’t forget to #Savortheflavor. HB

The time is fast approaching when we will say “Goodbye” to covering ’23’s and move into the younger set. We are two-days, post-NSD, so the clock is ticking. We can’t leave the class until the top-flight talent in the class is taken care of and has a place to land. Here is an available athlete who would make a fantastic “add” to any class among the 17 or so colleges or universities in Kentucky who field football teams. Just saying…HB.

A rose by any other name…Taylor Hansford coming on at Taylor County… @CoachSchuman @TaylorHansford_ @TCCardinalsFB @ScottParkey @SportsTaylor @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @KyHighFootball @MaxPreps @PrepSpin @kyhighs @HLPreps

Taylor Hansford plays MLB for Taylor County. I imagine a guy named “Taylor” should quarterback the defense for “Taylor” County. However, one should never read too much into a name. This particular Taylor just happens to be a fine football player. Enjoy the feature. HB.

KeVauhn Edmonds may be the best kept secret in Kentucky’s ’24 graduating class of football prospects. He plays football at one of Kentucky’s most storied programs particularly among 1A teams on the western end of the commonwealth. Edmonds is our Revolutionary Player of the Week. Several small colleges had big, big days on the first Wednesday in February. For instance, Georgetown and UPike both signed tremendous, Kentucky-laden classes. However, none of the small colleges around Kentucky have the nationwide reach and appeal of Centre College. The Colonels dipped into the lone-star state to gain the commitment from a talented Texan with the skills to make the competition around the SAA stand up and take notice. Enjoy the feature. HB.

Patrick Carr, ’25 TE, P, and PK, from Fern Creek High is the @1776Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week. @PatrickCarr27 @CoachJoshAbell @CoachNicholsFC @FernCreekFB @minguabeefjerky @kyhighs @HLPreps

Patrick Carr is a bright, shining example of how an athlete will always find a way to succeed. Patrick plays TE, punts, and place kicks. He plays football, soccer, and basketball. He is among the more polished and sought after TE’s in Kentucky’s ’25 class of prospects and he is (of course) our Revolutionary Player of the Week. ’26 RB/DB had promising year; will make huge strides next season Cooper Robinson was among the more physically gifted 9th graders playing 5A football across Kentucky over the ’22 season. He gained 9-games of action as a freshman which, standing alone, is quite an accomplishment. This player is only going […]

Demauriah Brown from Danville High has just completed a sophomore football season which would have landed hm on our sophomore all-state football team were we still compiling one. As it is, his performance should net consideration for him for the AP team, whose nominations should open any time. Enjoy this feature about this very fine sophomore RB/DB/Ath and don’t forget to #Savortheflavor. HB
