This kid here has numbers, particularly in the weight room, which just sort of jump off the charts at the reader. He is crazy strong, crazy powerful, crazy explosive, and crazy young. This kid literally has it all. It is very hard to evaluate 7th-graders but quicks and speed are things which can be somewhat evaluated, even in younger prospects. This player is elusive, catches the ball well, get’s down hill in a hurry, and has a nice long frame on him which belies tremendous growth potential. Enjoy the feature. HB.

Destin Cheirs, when last we heard, was going to attend Murray State and try his hand at Ohio Valley Conference Football. Well, it would appear he will aim his sights a bit higher. Cheirs has the opportunity to “bet on himself” and attempt to make the Louisville Cardinals football team which competes at the FBS, Power-5 level (ACC). In the end, it was too good of an opportunity to not risk it. We love athletes who remember the “student” portion of “student-athlete.” Nehemiah Lucky is certainly one of those. Lucky sports a 3.8 GPA at Louisville’s Fern Creek High. That doesn’t mean he can’t play some ball. He was elected captain a year ago in spite of his only getting to play in 6-games and was still among the club leaders in stops. He is 5’10,” 155-pounds, plays WR but could double in HS at DB, and he’s an excellent student on top of the other physical attributes he undeniably possesses.
