There are excellent players on literally every Kentucky High School Roster. Quintel Thomas is very good evidence of the phenomenon. Enjoy this look at a kid who tore it up in ’22 and appears to us definitely headed to “Saturday” football. We hope he stays in Kentucky. HB.
This kid has been on our radar a while and he has improved and gained in prowess over the years. He prepped this past Fall at North Laurel where he was a leader on the team in many different, statistical categories of importance. We believe him to be solidly a college running back, we just need to find him the right home. Enjoy the article. HB.
Tyleeq Williams isn’t very tall and he doesn’t weigh very much at all. However, the average stick of dynamite is roughly 8-inches long and weighs around 7-ounces or just shy a half-pound. Its size doesn’t prevent it from producing 1 MJ (megaioule) of energy or enough to blast a 12‐inch tree stump from the ground. We believe you will be saving the same about Tyleeq Williams after reading this article. Enjoy the feature. HB.
Every now and then, we write an article to fully impress our cleverness upon the reader. This is one of those and we may have gotten a little carried away; however, the central points shouldn’t lose focus. The point is…Gabe Claybrook has developed several skills any one of which could get him in college on someone’s dime other than his parents’ or his. Enjoy the feature. HB.
We are going to dispel some myths about both all-state football teams and small college football. Pull up a chair and try to learn a thing or two from your old, Uncle HB.
Well the season is in the rear view and we are gearing up for post season award ceremony. All-State football teams are already popping up around the social-media sphere. One guy who shouldn’t get left off the post-season teams is our Revolutionary Player of the Year. Enjoy the feature. HB.
These guys are our ’22 Kentucky HS All-State defense. Some of these guys are highly and nationally rated and others are just darn-fine, high school football players. Regardless, they all seem to be very good players, and no-doubt all-staters, to us. Enjoy the feature. HB.
Well, it is time to start another social media war about whom we did or didn’t select for our KPGFootball All-State Offense. Like we have before said, many times, you never get them all and you will always leave off any all-state team players who were undoubtedly “All-Sate Caliber.”
We voted for Layton Davis, first-team (on our AP ballot), when he was still at Caldwell County last season. Layton was “Honorably Mentioned” on the AP team and first-team on KPGFootball’s squad as only a junior. There isn’t a coach in the West who wouldn’t pick him first if assembling a team and needing an inside presence along the front. This kid is All-State, all day long, and our sources tell us might possibly be headed to play for Lindsey-Wilson. Enjoy the feature. HB.
DeAndre Malone really played at an incredibly high level all season long for Coach Chris Wolfe’s Bulldogs. The Louisville Male product is a first-team all-stater in our estimation. We also think he is a sure take for many a college football program looking to add a kid who understands “turning it on” under the lights. Enjoy the feature. HB.
