He had a splendid sophomore campaign at Frederick Douglass before bolting for the prestigious IMG Academy for his Junior campaign. We used to call him “Big Baby” around the magazine when he was killing it down in the MS ranks as a valuable member of Team Kentucky. We hear he has grown up and we know he is back on the Kentucky side of the line dividing West Virginia and the Bluegrass. It will be fun to see him now that he is all grown up. This has been one of 2021’s very best football players since his staring for Team Kentucky back in Middle-School. Well, guess what? He still is among 2021’s very best football players who would have numerous offers right now were there any Junior film to be evaluated on this guy. He lost almost his entire Junior year to a freak injury. He’s back now and running at 110%. Wait until you see what he does in 2020! We can’t wait to see it! Enjoy the article. HB.
Five of our KPGFootball All-Staters were awarded certificates last night (with Jaylen Turner not pictured) by the Breathitt County Board of Education. Congratulations boys and thanks to the BOE for recognizing their considerable achievement. HB.

We used to call him “Big Bear” when covering him for Team Kentucky while he was in Middle School. He asked us not to so reference him that way so we quit. Tyler Morris is one of the most explosive athletes in the Kentucky Class of 2022. He may be its best football player too. With the size and physicality of a LB and the speed, agility, quickness, and explosion of a “skill,” Morris is the KHSAA’s version of the one-man band. Just to give you an idea the role Kentucky Prep Gridiron plays in the promotion of the kids we cover, we thought it would be neat to look at this year’s AP All-State Football Team and see just how many of them have, either formerly or presently, make one of our All-State Teams.
