‘Birchfield’…a familiar name to call in route to titles at Pikeville High

Blake Birchfield has accomplished some of the more incredible feats this publication has ever covered since coming online over six (6) years ago. We don’t know where his football career will carry him from here, though he certainly isn’t hurting for suitors. We do know he will play somewhere. He is just too good not to have that opportunity.

Migua Beef Jerky uses Enviro-Pac CHU-2000 equipment to cook its meat to USDA required levels for both moist or dry operation. Mingua Beef Jerky wants you to become one of its many satisfied customers by sampling its quality hand sliced, all natural beef jerky. We know you’ll love it and come back for more, again and again.

Ronnie Mingua began experimenting with making beef jerky back in the 1990s. He shared his efforts with neighbors and friends, soon realizing he had come up with something different and superior to all other beef jerkies on the market. From these humble beginnings, Mingua Beef Jerky got its start.

…[S]omething different and superior to all other beef jerkies…

KPGFootball on the quality of Mingua’s product

Today, the Mingua Beef Jerky Company still prides itself on using its old-fashioned, all-natural recipes which offer outstanding products to customers across the nation. The recipes are a family tradition, passed down from generation to generation.

Our recipes and our quality ingredients, hand-cut from solid pieces of beef, are never chopped or formed like other brands, making our products superior and one of a kind. That would make our products similar to this week’s Protein Packed Performer, Class of ’25, WR/DB, Blake Birchfield, ’23 RB, from Pikeville, Kentucky’s Pikeville High, wouldn’t it?

Blake Birchfield has been amongst the more prolific rushers in the KHSAA for a few seasons. Stories detailing his many feats are approaching countless.

You may add his Regional Championship performance to the others. This past Friday night Birchfield rushed the football from scrimmage 23-times, gaining 220-yards, and scoring a whopping 4-TD’s over the ground.

With Birchfield as the primary offensive running component, Pikeville has run its record to 10-2 on the year with a date hosting Newport Central Catholic this coming Friday in the 2A semi-finals. The winner heads to Lexington to play for it all.

Through 12-games so far this year, Birchfield has gained 1,627-yards on 175-rushing attempts, scoring 29-TD’s. Birchfield has caught a handful of passes swinging out of the backfield and has scored on one of them.

Birchfield leads the team…in scoring with 184-points…

Birchfield leads the team on the season in scoring with 184-points posted up on the scoreboard. That is 15.3-points per ball game. That is just plain crazy from a production standpoint.

Mingua Beef Jerky and we decided this talented and accomplished ’25 RB could use a bolt of protein. The company volunteered to send him some straight away.

Join us next week as we honor another worthy player. Until then, pop some Mingua Beef Jerky in your mouth and savor the quality and flavor which sets it apart from all the competition. Remember, our product is superior and one of a kind; just like Central High’s Cortez Stone.
