When it come to looking the part, no one does it any better than ’24’s DJ Walker. He is locked in a tough battle for the starting QB slot at Lexington’s Layfayette High School and in the 6A classification, the real firs-stringer needs badly to reveal himself. Cooper Stone is one of the commonwealth’s most polished and prolific pro-style QBs. He has led the Bethlehem program to a level of play it will be difficult to replicate without him. Good thing the Eagles have Stone on whom to lean again next Fall. We know people around Bardstown, Kentucky are relieved to hear that! All Bryant from Boyd County High School is a player who gives his all every day in practice and works hard to put himself in position to help his team. Lleyton Penn was the “Ace Hardware Throwback Player of the Year.” That appears to be one of the more appropriately awarded awards we have ever seen any one company bestow. This guy is a linemen’s lineman. We believe he will have a big senior year and he will have opportunities to keep the party going in college should he choose. Enjoy this feature. HB.

Xsavier Cleary surprised everyone with what he did as a freshman starting and manning the middle of the defensive line for Paducah’s Blue Tornado in ’21. We love to feature the middle schoolers offseason. It is a great way to replenish our database which gets annually depleted by graduation. Harrison McGraw plays offensive center along with defensive line and is a player whose progression we intend to closely monitor. Players like him, especially where he is deployed, are not easy to find and are in very high demand. Enjoy the feature. HB.
