The time is fast approaching when we will say “Goodbye” to covering ’23’s and move into the younger set. We are two-days, post-NSD, so the clock is ticking. We can’t leave the class until the top-flight talent in the class is taken care of and has a place to land. Several small colleges had big, big days on the first Wednesday in February. For instance, Georgetown and UPike both signed tremendous, Kentucky-laden classes. However, none of the small colleges around Kentucky have the nationwide reach and appeal of Centre College. The Colonels dipped into the lone-star state to gain the commitment from a talented Texan with the skills to make the competition around the SAA stand up and take notice. Enjoy the feature. HB.

We have been featuring quite a few young ball players from London, KY’s North Laurel High. Some of you may be wondering why? It isn’t as if the Jaguars have been owning the 5A classification (6-6 in ’22). However, this team has some really nice talent coming down the pipelines and their days of hanging around .500 seems numbered. HB.
