Isac Earl is a guy who got plenty of run his freshman year, especially for a freshman at QB. This year he took another step toward the player he ultimately will be. This kid is a pretty polished play-maker and is growing into quite the dual threat QB. Enjoy the feature. Friday Night Fletch

Daniel Thomas has had quite a career all in one single season. This year alone, the 5’9,” 180-pounder has gained 3,159-yards and scored 45-rushing TDs on 295-carries. He plays defense too as he has 68-tackles, 2-TFLs, and a QB-sack on the year. Enjoy this feature and pop some of Kentucky’s finest jerky products in your mouth and savor the flavor! #SavorTheFlavor! It isn’t uncommon for players to play high school football for their dads. Matter of fact, 1956 Heisman, runner-up, and College Football Hall of Famer, Johnny “The Drum” Majors, played for his dad in high school (Shirley Majors) at Huntland High. Often, as was the case in the Majors’s situation, the son is the dad’s very best player. Mike Marksbury has done a wonderful job at Spencer County. One has to wonder how much his son, Kellen, has done to further dad’s coaching career. Enjoy the feature. Friday Night Fletch

Friday Night Fletch has become a commonwealth-wide phenomenon in high school football circles. Frankly and succinctly put, Fletcher Long knows twice as much about the world of KHSAA football as any one person alive today. He is an expert; he has done the work. Enjoy this article and let’s see Friday night how right or wrong he was.

Russ Crowe from Daviess County High is the @1776Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week- @DCHS_Football @minguabeefjerky @evans02_mike @_CoachManning @KyHighFootball @MaxPreps @sfitz_840whas @840WHAS

Russ Crowe helped his Daviess County ball club get to tonight’s second round match-up with Central Hardin in Edgewood, Kentucky. I am not sure how many of you realize what an uphill battle Daviess County had to fight to just get to this game. That North Hardin club had to forfeit some games for the use of an ineligible player this year. Many of the games North was required to forfeit were games North had won handily. Enjoy this feature and don’t forget to celebrate with us the services, people, and financial products which have caused a revolution in Kentucky’s banking industry. Friday Night Fletch

Logan Rodgers has been getting pressed of late and by a face pretty familiar to him and to us. Adrian Stringer is a sophomore QB for Illinois College, a Midwest Conference team which looks likely to advance to the NCAA field this Fall. The “Blueboys” stand at 8-1 overall with a 7-1 conference mark and beat Monmouth, head to head, earlier in the year 20-17. Stringer has been soliciting Rodgers to come join him. Will Rodgers heed the call? Enjoy this feature. Friday Night Fletch.

’24 LB (& Redhawk commitment) demonstrated prowess on offense and defense in round one We reported on this guy and awarded him this same distinction back in August of 2023. He had a night, in the first round, we just had to reward. It isn’t everyday a 5A player contributes […]

Williamsburg High has a ‘Goodin’ at QB and he is back next season- @WhsJacketPride @1776Bank @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @kyhighs @HLpreps @MaxPreps @HopkinsCentral @840WHAS @sfitz_840whas @evans02_Mike

Nate Goodin is among the more productive dual-threat QBs in the mountains and plays for, historically, one of its stronger programs. Williamsburg hasn’t been as good this year as they have been in others but, they are young, and with talent like Nate Goodin around, the Yellow Jackets figure to be in the mix going forward. Of course, the young Jackets, coached by Jerry Herron, Jr. have to attempt to survive a trip to Pikeville, Kentucky in round two. That trip to Pikeville has taken down a many Yellow Jacket football team in years gone past. Friday Night Fletch

Watch out Sayre (11-0); here come the Paris Greyhounds in round two! @1776Bank @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @kyhighs @HLpreps @MaxPreps @HopkinsCentral @840WHAS @sfitz_840whas @evans02_Mike

Paris heads to Lexington, KY to take on the 11-0, Sayre Spartans, and its splendiferous sophomore QB, Luke Pennington. Pennington had thrown 37-TD passes to zero INTs entering the first round game against Harlan. However, Paris has some fine talent of its own, including ’27 signal-caller, Julius Gregory and a young head coach everyone is talking discussing (Tyquan Rice, pictured). We will take a look at this matchup, which might go a ways toward reserving a slot on Kroger Field in early December. Friday Night Fletch

Every one talks about Montavin Quisenberry around the Boyle program and rightfully. However, Boyle has another athlete on its roster clipping off fully automated 10.8-second, 100-meter track times. That converts to a 40-yard dash time of 4.5-seconds (fully automated) which is blazing. This guy has averaged over 30-yards a reception this year and is second on the team in TDs receptions. Enjoy the feature. Friday Night Fletch.
