We love what this ’24 FB/LB brings to both sides of the scrimmage line at Hopkins County Central. We are in the midst of the dumbest 2-week period in high school football. Yes, we are derisively discussing “Dead Period.” However, in a matter of days we will come out the other side of this haze and it will be football season in near full throat! Deven Leclerkcq may have been the best down lineman in all of Kentucky’s ’26 graduating class a season ago. The big man got 13-games of run playing for a 5A semi-finalist which went 13-1 a year ago. Can’t wait to see what Leclercq does this coming season. Enjoy the feature. FL.

If you look at his season statistics from ’22, they are very strong but we have seen and even featured players with better. So, what makes him so elite in the eyes of college recruiters? Two words…frame and growth potential. College coaches are betting on what the player, with high level development, may one-day become. We know quite a few coaches, who know quite a bit about football, who are ALL very impressed with this prospects frame and growth potential.
